Widows Sons Solomon’s Guard Proudly Take Part in Penicuik on Parade 2025

The Widows Sons Solomon’s Guard Scotland were honoured to be invited to take part in this year’s Penicuik on Parade — a beloved annual event that brings the whole community together in celebration.
For our chapter, being part of the procession was not only a privilege but also one of the highlights of our calendar.
Riding in formation through the town, shoulder to shoulder with community groups, local heroes, and proud representatives of Penicuik’s vibrant organisations, was a truly memorable experience.
More than just taking part, we were proud to help shine a spotlight on Freemasonry. Throughout the afternoon, we joined and supported the brethren from Lodge St Kentigern No. 429 at their information stand in the park. Their presence helped spark conversations, answer questions, and break down some of the misconceptions that still surround our craft.
As Masonic motorcyclists, we’re always looking for opportunities to connect with the public and show that Freemasonry is alive, active, and community-minded — and Penicuik on Parade offered just that.
We’d like to thank the event organisers, the people of Penicuik, and of course, our brothers from Lodge St Kentigern for their warm welcome and camaraderie. We look forward to taking part again in future years and continuing to support Freemasonry in action.
Ride safe,
Widows Sons Solomon’s Guard Scotland
